A Possible Answer To “Why Existence?” — A Perspective (By Gaurav Krishnan)
The fundamental questions theoretical physicists grapple with in the modern era are ‘How Existence?’ & ‘Why Existence?’.
The fundamental questions theoretical physicists grapple with in the modern era are ‘How Existence?’ & ‘Why Existence?’.
These questions have categorically been the driving forces that physicists, especially theoretical physicists, have been trying to answer through the decades.
I have also been deeply curious about these two fundamental questions and have followed the greatest thinkers in the field of physics from Einstein to John Wheeler and to Brian Greene, Michio Kaku and others.
Despite not being a physicist, I am a deeply curious individual and have read up a lot about physics ever since I was a school boy.
My Answer To ‘Why Existence?’
One night while I was staring into the sky and observing the magnificence of a star studded night while staring into space, I thought of a possible answer to the question ‘Why Existence?’
The answer I thought up was — “Because atoms need space to propagate their desires” or perhaps, “Because atoms need space to propagate their energy”
While I’m not a physicist, this was an answer I felt was pretty apt considering what we know about the universe from the ‘Big Bang’ and ‘evolution’
I’m open to debate this and discuss this with a proper theoretical physicist, however, I’m afraid I’m far too under qualified.
But this answer is one that I find is elegant and compelling to think about.
This follows from my theory which was an extension of Einstein’s theory of relativity.
I would love to explore these concepts with a qualified person, but until then this is my answer.
Thank you.
